What is Guided Redaction?
Guided Redaction is a feature that allows users to automatically redact sensitive information from documents. Users can load a document and select specific fields, such as email addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers, to be redacted. The processing occurs directly on the device, ensuring that sensitive data is permanently deleted and does not leave the device.
How does the redaction process work?
To use Guided Redaction, you first load your document into the system. Then, you select the fields you want to redact, such as email, phone number, or zip code. After making your selections, you proceed to scan and process the document. A preview of the changes is displayed, and once confirmed, the selected data is permanently removed from the document.
What can I do with the redacted document?
After redacting a document, you have several options for what to do next. You can save the document to a USB drive, email it, upload it to SharePoint, save it to the job storage on the printer, or even print a copy of the redacted document.
